Kieran's NYE Kloset

Whether your at a private event at Vast, gettin' down at Candy's or chilling with your friends at Speakeasy, your NYE outfit is going to be one of many different things that help you welcome 2014, besides your friends of course. NYE outfits are the outfits everyone goes out to buy. Thousands of girls are taking over malls and shopping centers to try and find the perfect dress to set the pace for their 2014 clothing life (dramatic I know).

Luckily you have me. I am going to share my two cents. Now, I am a strong fan of sequins, but it has to be the right sequins. You do not want to be the girl that ruins everyone's clothes every time you bump into them (I was once that girl...yikes). Therefore, I have posted five dresses that are killer and sure to catch peoples eyes. You can find them at local stores, but if you can't find them there, I have posted a link to every item at the bottom of the page.

The top three dresses are perfect if you are wanting to go with a more grown up, sophisticated, i'm-a-business-woman look. Those are my personal favorite, especially the one in the middle. Flashy can be classy.

Now, if you aren't the sequin type, don't fret. I have also included some black dresses that are sure to be show stoppers. There is no excuse for you NOT wanting another LBD, am I right? . I mean, when will they go out of season? Never. Below are LBD's for all. I have also recently started to love the crop top look. I personally think a leather shirt like the Phillip Lim one I have shown below and a velvet or sequin crop top would be fab for NYE (I have posted more at the bottom).  If you aren't that type, then go for some of the other options. You have to be comfortable in what you wear.

NYE Back In Black

If you still aren't liking any of these, I would suggest finding a piece of clothing that you absolutely love. Either get a fun, flashy top and pair it with black skinnies or a new pair of shoes. I always go for the shoes. It's a problem. A problem I don't want to fix. HA! When I don't know what I am going to wear, I normally find one thing in my closet that I love, then I form an outfit around it. You will find yourself more comfortable and with the outcome if you are excited about wearing a certain item. I promise.
